Hi! I'm Bethany

I'm a yoga teacher, somatic breathwork facilitator and sound bath practitioner but my path here wasn't exactly straight forward. I know what it's like to feel disconnected from yourself and I also know how powerful it can be to find your way back. Through yoga, breathwork and sound I create space for others to slow down, reconnect and discover what's possible when they start listening to themselves.

My Story

Somewhere along the way, I lost the fearless little girl I used to be.

As a child, I wasn't afraid to speak up, make decisions, or try something new. But somewhere along the way, that confidence began to disappear. I became an adult who second-guessed herself, struggled to have conversations, and was afraid to make even simple decisions.

After years of building a successful career in cosmetic sales, everything changed in 2020. I lost my job, my sense of direction, and eventually, my connection to myself. I started withdrawing from people, avoiding social situations, and spending more and more time at home. I felt like I was living in the shadows of the person I used to be.

I knew something needed to change, but I had no idea where to begin.

Deciding to pursue yoga teacher training was one of the first times in a long time that I did something brave for myself. It wasn't that I was afraid of people. It was the unpredictability of new situations that scared me. Even walking into a studio felt intimidating, but something in me knew I had to try.

Yoga helped me find my voice again. I discovered that I could stand in front of a room full of people, lead a class, and feel confident doing it. But while I was becoming more comfortable in my role as a teacher, I was still struggling to find that same confidence in my personal life.

Then I discovered somatic breathwork.

My first few sessions were unlike anything I'd experienced before. Some were deeply emotional, others intensely physical, and each one seemed to reveal something different about myself. I began recognizing patterns, facing things I'd been avoiding, and learning to trust myself again.

But what surprised me most wasn't just what happened during those sessions. It was how quickly things began shifting in my everyday life.

I distinctly remember being at Target one day, joking and carrying on a conversation with the woman at checkout. As I walked out of the store, I caught myself thinking, Holy cow, who was that?

It was me. The version of myself I hadn't seen in a very long time.

Those little moments began happening more often. Conversations felt easier. I found myself feeling lighter, more comfortable in my own skin, and less afraid of the unknown. It wasn't that every fear or insecurity had disappeared. I was simply beginning to feel like myself again.

That experience changed the direction of my work. I knew I wanted to share somatic breathwork with others, not because I believe everyone will have the same experience I did, but because I know how meaningful those shifts can be.

Today, I bring that experience into my work with one simple hope that people leave feeling lighter than they arrive. Like they're finally able to take a deep exhale.

Sometimes the shifts are subtle, and sometimes they're profound. But my intention is always the same: to create a space where you feel safe to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and discover what's possible when you begin listening to what you need.

And maybe, just maybe, you'll walk outside afterward and notice that the world feels a little brighter.
